I have 2004 SSR 5.3,installed the diablo tune torque management delete advance the timing 10 deg. @ 1k to 3k 8 deg. 4k put the COT @ 400 deg. and this turned this truck into a monster went from 6.5 0 to 60 to 5.6 thank you Diablo sport LOL I know it's not a big monster but that is a big difference for a 5.3.

It does not have a ping but do you think that's to much timing to advance it or is it in the ballpark?
Enjoy!

I have just got a i2030 and have a 2010 silverado with a 4.8l. In the quick start guide, it shows that if you have a 99-07 with aftermarket remote start, Which I do on my 2010, you should remove it when installing the tune. Do I need to with my 2010 or were only the 99-07 models affected?

Not an issue on the 2010 model as long as its installed properly.

if you use 87/89 octane, then use the 87 octane tune.. if you use 91/93 octane, then use the Diablo Tune..

and if you want more gains/performance than what the preset canned tunes get ya, you can get a custom tune done - www.diablewtune.com

Hi guys, Harry here from South Africa. I'm looking for advice / technical support on the I3 if possible. But first things first. I got hold of a Vortech supercharger kit for a Hummer H2 from Andy's Autosport since they where the only company in the US willing to help out in exporting such a kit to our country. After installing the kit the last step is to install the mapping/tune in the form of the I3 handheld unit that came with the kit. My issue at the moment is that the standard tune in the unit doesn't seem to work with the kit? So what I want to know is how do I write a custom tune for the I3? How do I load it to the unit and what software should I purchase or download to get everything working. I already did an update on the unit and when plugging in the unit I basically can do everything like scan and clear DTC's, Load and Backup the "standard tune" and "factory tune" and record logs. For some reason the "easytune" function on the unit is grayed out so can't use that at all. And also when I go to the "Modify Parameters" nothing appears in the list.

So any advice would be much appreciated
Regards
Harry.

This may be a question that has been answered previously, but I did not find anything when I searched the Forum.
If I have a update for my I3, do I need to remove the existing tune from the vehicle before updating the I3 and Reinstall or just update it?
