Vehicle calibration not on file. Update tuner online.

Post by Chevy46 »

I have a new predator 2 (#7203) for my 2013 chevy 3500hd (duramax). I have:
- updated the tuner online
- contacted support which told me I need to reset my computer at a dealer
- contacted 2 dealers (1 said they don't know how to fix it and the other says they "might" be able to fix it for $120 (might be more).

Anyone have any other options I can try?

Are you sure about this? I spoke with support concerning this, gave them my VIN, make, model, year... They told me this was the correct model for my vehicle.

I know with the intune and trinity, GM diesels are only supported up to 2010 model years.. nothing newer... so based on diablo's other tool support, I know for a fact that no diesels newer than 2010 are supported... maybe its different with the predator 2 since it's a new tool and is essentially the superchips tool, so then I'm not 100% sure.. contact diablo tech support at support@diablosport.com tomorrow to find out for sure...

sounds like you had an old calibration from GM and just need to get it updated.
Its a pretty quick process at the dealer for sure.

Thank you for the information. 2 dealers wouldn't touch it without me accepting the risk of them trying the computer ($1500 fix if it happened).

Took it to a diesel performance shop who called support with me there and support decided P2 wouldn't work fully with the 2013 3500 HD. I have returned my P2 while finding a solution.

Thanks for all the replies.
