T2 wideband inputs

Post by dh4ck3r »

Is there a way to connect my wideband gauge to the T2? My T1000 has an analog input but I don't see that option listed for T2.

Is there a timeframe? It's the only thing holding me back from upgrading from my T1000.

I am also looking to upgrade to the T2 from my Trinity T-1000, but I use the two analog inputs for AFR and fuel pressure on my '07 Jeep SRT8. Will the input port on the T2 use the same plug? I really don't want to rewire my inputs, but I wouldn't let that stop me from getting the T2 after it has analog inputs capability.

Thanks!

No, they are not there just yet.
Once they are enabled they will use the existing EAS system we use for Edge and Superchips devices where everything is daisy chained into the OBDII cable.

Re: T2 wideband inputs & EAS

Post by sanderson269 »

I just downloaded the manual for the T2 and the "OBDII to HDMI Cable" drawing on page 8 has an EAS port in the middle. I didn't notice that before. Does that mean the T2 software is also now ready for EAS inputs? EAS is not otherwise mentioned in the manual. https://www.diablosport.com/support-pdf ... Manual.pdf
Thanks.

I’m Hoping EAS will be available by the spring. I really don’t want to run a gauge

Mike, I’m also wondering if I will need to buy an EAS pressure sending unit to monitor boost? I know the T2 will read boost off the computer but I’m not sure how precise it would be. I need it perfect for data logging and tuning.

Also, will the EAS wideband from diablo be an entire o2 sensor and harness? Or just the harness for a third party sensor of my choice.

I know this info is out there but, I thought it would be easier to ask all at once.

Thanks in advance

initial option will be a 0-5 analog input for EAS that you can connect and configure any Wideband to work with, as long ass it has an analog output. Eventually we'll offer our own WB as well.
I starting to do some EAS testing and documentation for T2 this week :)
