New cam

Post by Oldsklr »

I have a 2008 Silverado 2500hd 6.0 gas, getting ready to rebuild the bottom end (cam & main bearings), looking into performance cam options, Will trinity tuner have the option to tune new cam specs?

A cam swap will require a custom tune.

No, the params in the trinity are the most in depth of any hand held you will find, but nowhere near enough to dial in a cam swap. Thats where you'd go to a CMR tuner to have a custom tune made and loaded to the trinity.
