P061B 18 Raptor

Post by Orrank »

So first off, I havent had any issues with the tune on my truck, tho I do baby it. Rarely more then 1/2 throttle.
Anyways on the freeway I was cruising 70-75 decided to run to 100. 1/2-3/4 throttle probably. At about 95 and 23ish lbs boost according to T2, wrench light lost all boost and wastegate opened. P061B powertrain module malfunction. Assuming due to overboost?

Got to my kids school and loaded stock tune, seems to drive fine. Havent loaded 91 tune back in yet.
Has something come up or the program updated in the last year or so that might fix?

Cant say I have run into that. When you reload the tune please post the backup and last tune written files from the tunes folder here.

Please send me an email so I have your contact info. The tune files have been forwarded to the calibrations team for review.

Here is a corrected tune to try. To load it, download the attachment file to your Desktop, then drag and drop it into the T2 drive without putting it in a folder. It will import automatically and give you a notification on the screen of the device.

When that is complete, you can bring it to the vehicle, and load it from the Custom Tune menu. Finally, don't forget to email me with results: mikem@powerteq.com

Email sent..

For clarification, do I need to load stock program first? Or load the custom even with the 91 octane tune already loaded.

Tuner notice anything out of parameters?
