Turn off annoying seat belt ringing
That damn chime when the seat belt is removed while driving is get-under-your-skin annoying. Having ability to silence it would be priceless.

Not gonna happen. Thats BCM not PCM. Plus seatbelts are the law. Wear them and it won't ding.
Re: Turn off annoying seat belt ringing
Most manufactures tell you how to disable it in the owners manual. Most of the time it is just plugging the seatbelt in with the car off and a few key cycles.jeffsage wrote:That damn chime when the seat belt is removed while driving is get-under-your-skin annoying. Do you not like your face? Why would anyone with an SRS equipped vehicle not wear their seatbelt?

Re: Turn off annoying seat belt ringing
Jeffsage, you can have the annoying bell turned off. Page 54 of your user manual shows:
BeltAlert can be enabled or disabled by your authorized
dealer. Chrysler Group LLC does not recommend deactivating
BeltAlert.
NOTE: Although BeltAlert has been deactivated, the
Seat Belt Reminder Light will continue to illuminate
while the driver’s or front passenger (if equipped with
BeltAlert) seat belt remains unfastened.
