I have an 06 GT that came with the Diablo Predator U7140. The tune for 93 octane already installed. I have a couple of questions.
1) Do I need a CAI now that the tune has been installed? Currently there is a K&N high flow filter installed in place of the paper one.
2) With out a CAI does the car run rich?
3) Currently thinking about installing a Ford Racing CAI. It requires a tune. https://fordracingpartsbydonwood.com/el ... 9603-m463/
The DL page has no updates for that CAI. Does the update from this page cover that? https://forum.diablosport.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=59633
4) Does this update cover any CAI I might want to install? Or do I need a custom tune?
5) Does the update from here https://forum.diablosport.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=59633 (same as mentioned above) have updated parameters for my car?
Thank you,
Frank

the fileter helps but a GOOD cai is the best (i recomend the JLT over all)

if you are using the base 93 tune and are not using a CAI then you will not be running rish or lean. if you add a cai withouht a tune you will be VERY lean

we are no longer updating the predators but the CAI tunes should already be on yours. if not i can make you one.
4) Does this update cover any CAI I might want to install? Or do I need a custom tune?
we cover 95% of the CAI on the market

depends on what revision you are on now. what does it say when you boot up the tool at the top?
Thank you,

if you return the tool to stock and run the updater program (assuming you have the cable) it will update itself to 9R09

Re: U7140 06 Mustang GT
Hi Matt,
So this is what I need to do.
1) Flash my vehicle back to "stock"
2) Update the Predator with the file from here https://forum.diablosport.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=59633
3) Re-flash my vehicle with whatever tune I need.
Correct?
Thank you again,
Frank
