2005 gt gear change

i will be swaping out rearend gears to 373 ratio. my question is, can i change the pcm stock tune with tuner and leave the tuner unlocked. or should i have the dealer reflash pcm with new gear ratio. the reason i ask is if i remove the cai and all the other parts i have put on the car to sell it with 373 gears installed. i do know i can modify my air raid canned tune.

If you have a tune installed into the car, (even a stock tune with gear change) the tuner is locked to that car.

thats what i thought, thanks for reply. i will put stock tune back into pcm and and have the dealer relash the pcm with new gears and then reload my tune and make the adjustments.
