If I were you I would downgrade your Pred back to 9r07 so that you can at least back up your stock stune again, just like I did.
You can then put your performace tune back in and wait until they figure out what's wrong with 9t08nl.

I've had the stock tune in for the past couple of weeks since my truck has been back and forth to the dealership while the have been working on my interior and waiting for parts. I was really looking forward to the new tune since I finally got the truck back. :(

Anyone else who had the same Error(-14) this time around, did you notice the truck acted like it didn't want to start right off? I was a little scared my truck was going to die.

Could you guys with issues please pm me your VIN's and if all possible your calids (found in options>>troubleshooting>>show calid) so i can run them on the bench here to see what might be going on.
Thank you for all the great feedback guys.

I'm at work so I don't have access to my Diablo at this time, my VIN is 2GCEC19J681295894. One thing I did notice when looking at the info screen last night under Bus Check (or something like that) it said still scanning or still checking. I will let you know exactly what it said as soon as I get home, hopefully that is before you all go home also.

And what rev did you have prior to the update?
I will try to follow your procedure to a "T" here to see what i get.

I had rev 9r07, oddly enough I was looking over the info on it before I updated because I couldn't get my computer to connect to the Diablo (was using the wrong COM number). It had a born date of 3-14-2009 or around that, which was about a month before I bought it. The Bus Check on it before the update said pass or complete, can't really remember. I also noticed that after the update when I hooked it up to the truck it took longer to boot the Diablo and when going into Performance Tune it listed an option for Original Tune, I don't remember it listing that option before with out it having the backup on the Diablo. When it starts to do the backup it gets to 2% and you can here the ECM/PCM (which ever it is) click and then the error would show on the screen. How late do you all work and you’re on the West coast right? With any luck I will make it home and get you the info you need before your day is over.

The new ones will take longer to boot, added more stuff.
I just flashed your vin on a bench pcm here and it appears to be working as advertised for me here.
We are on the east coast(FL).

Hmm, one of the guys said his would make a backup and let him install the new tune if he had the ignition off. Maybe I should try that when I get home, wasn't sure if that would screw anything up or not.
