I just thought about something. I didn't pull the fuses, I didn't any other time either but I just moved to an area where my truck is out in the open and before I was in a garage in the city. Maybe OnStar was sending or receiving a signal or with the extra changes it needs more power. I will pull the fuses when I get home and try again. I'm going to try the fusses first to see if that doesn't make a difference. Also not sure how much the battery would have drained but the truck has been at the dealers a lot the past couple of weeks having the seats recovered, trim replaced and they had to repaint the area around my doors so its spent a lot of time with the doors open and not running. Can't wait to go home and try the tune again.

a weak battery would cause a failure. i dont think the fuses are a big deal on the newer stuff

do you have non stock tires on? if you enter stock tire size, that should go away. now if you have a non stock size on, your speedo will be wrong. so either abs lights on, or speedo wrong, your choice.

Poblem with new Crom.

Post by Firedog »

I have 07 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 gas and I have the Preditor U7194. I restored my stock tune back to the truck to unlock it and installed the new Crom file. Hooked it up to my truck and the Preditor does not reconize my truck it said your calibration is not supported. Any ideas? I installed the 9r07 crom back to the Preditor and works ok. Let the Predator take a backup, then e-mail me or Mike L the backup file, then plug the unit back into vehicle and go to options>>troubleshooting>> restore original backup and wait for us to spin a new revision.

Have you tried to read the code? Does it do it on the stock tune? Maybe you really do have a problem with the truck???

Have you tried not adjusting the tire size at all and just installing the performance tune?
Our neighbor has that same truck here so give me some time and i will get it in here and check it out, right now i am in the middle of getting 2010 camaro tuning done so it will be a few days.

Hello guys!

I was reading about all the problems with the tires sizes. I got 22inch wheels with cooper zeons 275/45 so i dont have the stock tire sizes but i didnt change the tire size in the predator i just installed the performance tune. A couple of days ago i check the speedo meter with a gps based nav ( not the incar) wich shows the speed by satalite and there was no differance between those 2. The speedo meter was the same as he nav showed. So my advice is try to check the speedo meter with an gps and then make adjustments instead of making those before.

Hope this helps!

Owh btw the performance tune is incredible!! it runs much smoother and doenst shift down as before when stock on steep hils and such. I'm now n the process with monteSS for the custum tuning. And have tuned the truck a couple of times now. And still i haven't found a bug or problem with it.

i tryed both tunes adj the tire sizes in both the side wall size and the measurement heightand aslo didnt adjust the size at all and in every adj i make and then drive i still see rear weel speed 5 less than the front i even replaced the ebcm just for the hell of it and still the same out of frequancy code sets after about 2-3 miles but its fine with the fac tune i even tryed leaving the speed limiter on and just raised it all the way up the code is c0245 wheel speed sensor frequency error i talked to A GM enginere and told him the code not telling him i have used the tuner and he told me it is a software conflick and told me to replace the ebcm and reprogram the new module i told him ok no prob lol.
