Modify tune while NOT connected to car

Post by slyder »

Can I connect the DSP to the wall adapter then adjust (modify) a tune while it is NOT connected to the car. Then go out and connect it to the car and install the map that I made changes too???

OR

Do I need this connected to the car 1st and then adjust the map??

RE: change tune while NOT connected to car

Unfortunetly it needs to be connected. I wish it didn't. Sitting in a hot car sucks.

Same with the Trinity and making gauge setups. Would prefer to do it on the computer and then upload it to the handheld, like MSD allows.

OOPPPSS  let me re-phrase, answer may be the same
Can I go into a tune, not connected to car, change a parameter (rev limiter example) then take it and load it into the car?

again may be the same answer just phrased better.

No, you cannot. Something like that can only be accomplished while the Predator is connected to the car or if you have the CMR software

I actually took your first question to mean what you wrote in your second, so you really didn't have to rephrase. I knew what you meant. ;)
