I sent you (Mike) a PM with this info, so there no need to reply here, but I just wanted to post this info in case others experience the same problem.
"Believe me or not, but since I upgrade from 9r07 to 9r12 last month, your predator screwed up my 5.7L Hemi PCM causing codes left and right all the time, making the car run like crap, shutting off on me every few minutes while driving...
I know it's no coincidence, because when I returned it stock (twice) to go to the dealer thinking something real was wrong the car was running fine, then when I returned home and installed the predator, it would set off codes and make the car run like crap again, I did this stock to tune to stock 7-8 times and every time it's stock it's fine, and when the 9r12 v Predator tune is on it screws up the PCM throwing weird codes that don't make sense, making the car run like crap and shutting off on my while driving every few minutes.
Anyways, I returned it to stock, tried to upgrade to 9r18 to have a new version that would not screw up my PCM, and I can't update my old predator to 9r18 and I read on the forum that I need the "I" CROM to make it upload the 9r18 CROM update.
I know I don't have an 09 model, but the 9r12 is really screwing up my PCM, must be a bug in the update or something, so I'm hoping the 9r18 will make my 05 Hemi run without problems, which it did back when I updated to 9r07 a year ago and was perfect and flawless.
I cannot run the 9r12 as it screws up my PCM (computer bug in the update is my guess), so either I upgrade to 9r18, which requires the "I" CROM, or send me the 9r07 CROM so that I can go back to it and have my car run good, until then, all I have is a paperweight."

Too many to list, none making sense, never repeating themselves, I kind of figured the PCM had a bug because I sometimes get the engine temp correct like 200 or so, then it goes down to 30 for a few minutes and shows normal again.Quick wrote:What were the codes? and what parameters did you modify?
My settings were, 91 CAI, raised shift points to 6000, increased shift firmness, and fan temps at 180-195, nothing different than what I've had in the past year and a half.

Wish I could help you more. But the one thing I have learned is that your R/T will be quicker if you DON"T raise the shift points, as the R/T's don't make enough power past the stock shift points to do you any good, probably will have a negative effect in run times.05MAGNUMRT wrote:Too many to list, none making sense, never repeating themselves, I kind of figured the PCM had a bug because I sometimes get the engine temp correct like 200 or so, then it goes down to 30 for a few minutes and shows normal again.Quick wrote:What were the codes? and what parameters did you modify?

Wrong, I tested it at the track and it was consistently 2 tenth faster in the 1/4 mile as opposed to stock shifting RPM.broadfca wrote:Wish I could help you more.
