As I mentioned above, I installed the new update yesterday with no problem (thank you). Today (after 100 miles or so), I tried to do a data log per GrumpyAeroguy's instructions. Once I set the data log parameters (GM short, 8 different parameters ) dorve for 15 mintutes on highway then hit escape as instructed, it asked if I wanted to read and record data (yes/no). I chose yes but it only read/displayed the data, and did not record it (at least not that I could tell. It did not ask if I wanted to log data like it did with old crom and there wasnt a 0-100% progress bar. If I manually chose the data logging option on the diagnostic menu, I get a "ECKS fatal error" message and the unit says "You may now unplug predator". I guess what I am trying to say is that I cant log the data like I did before. Is there a different procedure wih the 9t08p update? Any ideas here?

Which update it the newest the p or q crom? i have an 08 sierra with the 5.3L M motor will it work with my truck? i currently have the 9r05a crom is it worth to update? thanks

Did you let it take a backup with the new update?
In order to be able to support you i will need a backup from you, or you can also post or pm me your vin and i can see if i can get the file from a bench flash.

We fixed some datalog and dtc checks on the "q" version, is this what you used?

i just udated to the q crom but still when i turn the speed limiter off i get those abs and brake lights other than that everything is perfect the updated tune has some nice power.

yes it should work with your 08 truck...

the tunes are different from the 05a revision, so yes it's worth the update for you...

q is the newest. Anything newer is supposedly better. Id give it a try. You can always roll back if you dont like it.
