hey guys...... yes you Diablo employees.....
since not much gets done without a monetary incentive......why not offer some
limited TCM tuning, available as a Pay downloadable upgrade????????
You could offer to raise shift points 400-500 rpms.
Reduce/remove torque management.
I would pay $250 all day long to do this, and have it on my Predator.
I cannot, however, justify nor afford the $1200+ going rate that other
custom tuners want for this TCM adjustment.
What do you think?
I think if you took a poll on the Jeep forums, the number of people that
would reply and be willing to pay would be staggering.
thanks........

TCM tuning options, Jeep SRT8 ?????? Pay to Upgrade ?

Did you see my thread from last week? My Jeep SRT8 is quicker short shifting then letting it rev out. I'm thinking that unless you're cammed for higher rpms, that a TCM tune won't do you much good for performance. It'll be for feel only.

Supposedly, it has been shown that the Jeeps are picking up 3 tenths and 3 mph in the 1/4 mile, and your faster 12.5 lightly modded ones are picking up a solid 2 tenths and 2 mph. I believe the torque management reduction/removal is doing a lot.
