1995 Vortec 454 Stroker?

I am in the process of rebuilding the 454 in my 1996 suburban. As I have a rather heavy travel trailer (8000 lbs) I am interested in building a stroker motor (496 - 502) for it. I am wondering how much the stock mpfi can support and how best to get a custom program to make it all run. I realize I will likely need bigger injectors, air intake, headers etc. Also thinking to add a cam a couple of steps above what I have now, but nothing crazy. I drive this truck everyday. Any help would be greatly appreciate on the electronics side.

Sorry, I mistyped in the header. It is a 1996 vehicle with the vortec 454.
