You can tell from my post date of June 21 that I had this problem and these boys told me it would be a couple of weeks to sort things out and it has now turned into a couple of months and still counting. I think that diablosport should compensate us with a little something since we are the ones who support their products and we all have shelled out good dough getting nothing in return except excusespbgear wrote:the silence from DiabloSport is deafening

bottom line is this. we bought these predators because the company markets this item as being valid and compatible with 2009 300c's, chargers, challengers, etc. It turns out this is not necessarily the case. If you have purchased a predator that was sold under false pretenses and thus unusable by the end purchaser place a posting here. Lets get a list together and proceed as needed from there.
Im in the same boat as you guys are. Doesnt work with my Cal Id either. I can see you have had this problem since June 21.
The problem is they told you a couple of weeks. Thats a problem when still no support after more that 2 months. They should have been more realistic then we wouldnt have our hopes up for a quick resolve.
It seems they have time to answer other questions on this forum, but are silent when you ask a simple question as to how much longer.

I like how you guys think this is such a simple task... Hmmm, if it was, wouldnt there be more tuners out there for this platform?
I think you seriously need to reconsider your statements and just sit tight as it is being worked upon.
We got thrown a curve ball and are trying to deal with it to be able to support these new additional calids that did not even exist when we released support for 2009's.
Seriously....

I can appreciate that this is a more difficult task than originally believed - however that does not excuse the lack of feedback coming from your company. Your company had stated several times that a few more days (or weeks) were needed to formulate a solution.
Instead months have gone by without any feedback on progress (or lack thereof) from diablosport or any revised eta.
Additionally your website still markets this product as being compatible with 2009 300c's when you have known for several months (at the least) that this was not necessarily true. Indeed I bought mine several weeks ago - well after you knew there was a lack of 2009 support - after being misled that your product would be compatible with my vehicle.
I am sure that there have been many, many thousands of dollars that have been spent by customers buying predators who were led to believe (by your website) that their vehicle was supported - when in fact it was not and you were aware it was not - but you continue to market it as being compatible without exception for their vehicles.

The unit does support 2009's, it just does not support the latest cals from Dodge for certain 2009's, those cals where not even out when we initially released the 2009 support, so your statement is kind of flawed since most of the 2009's are supported, just not the latest cal ones.pbgear wrote:I can appreciate that this is a more difficult task than originally believed - however that does not excuse the lack of feedback coming from your company. As for lack up updates, what can i say, we have been extremely busy on various projects and support to keep customers just like yourself happy, all i can say is we do our best but thats obviously not always good enough for certain people....

but I digress...
so now there are at least two series of unsupported cals.
this situation is neither humorous or acceptable - the time for excuses has passed.
the "other projects" occupying your time are of no interest to me and are not my concern - this situation is. how about resolving past issues before moving ahead to new projects. it appears that a solution here is getting further away from being resolved than getting closer to resolution.
if you cannot adequately support your customer base and business - then hire. there are tons of very talented people looking for work. to grow beyond your ability to support your client base is a recipe for failure and disaster. I have personally been there and lived it.
you may consider me too demanding and unreasonable for simply asking that the product you market and sell - and that I bought - work for me as advertised. additionally you may deem me impatient for not happily waiting 2+ months to get a workable solution without complaint.
if you are willing to refund my money please let me know - and I will go away.

Why should it be when 68061222AB supersedes it. What that means is, if your car has 68061222AA and they support 68061222AB, it will work, as they'll write 68061222AB to your car, just like the dealership could/would.SeaBass67 wrote:So is this how this ends???? IF this unit will not support my cal id ever then what do I have to do to get it supported, I really do not understand what you are telling me. Does the dealer have to do some kind of firmware update to my vehicle ? What is so different about my cal id? Do you guys offer any unit, such as the trinity, that will ever support my car? If I have to do something then by all means let me knowjohan wrote:Funny thing, 68061222AA will never be supported, 68061222AB will be.... Thats the latest cal for that family as of last week.

Think of it this way. CALID: 68061222AB is an update to CALID: 68061222AA. So, if you have "AA", and once Diablo supports "AB", you'll be able to write "AB" to your vehicle just like the dealership could update it with their Starscan.

jimmy,
68061222AA is already obsolete and chrysler has released 68061222AB to replace it. So, DiabloSport will be supporting the AB version because it is the most current calibration. The predator will be able to update your cars calibration prior to installing the diablo tunes with the new revision coming out. This is the madness of OEM calibration updates. You would think Chrysler would get them right before releasing them as they are the OEM but that is not the case.

The sad part of all this is the Moderators on this forum are twisting this around saying we said this was a simple task. I dont remember anyone here saying it was an easy task to get our units to work with the newer CAL ID. In fact it was the Johan who said "We should have something for you this coming week. " That was back in June. So if anything, it was Johan that gave us the notion that this was an easy fix.
Also to date, dont you think it would be a good idea to let potential buyers of U1735 know that there is a chance that the unit WILL NOT WORK with thier vehicle? Is that too much?
