Still getting trouble codes

Post by Mineral_GT »

There Baaaack!!!! I'm getting obd II codes P0172 & P0175 ( running too rich, bank 1 and 2 respectively. I'm using the Steeda CAI 91 octane tune Ver. 8r37 on my U7140 tuner. I've cleaned my MAF sensor (again), I'll reset the codes, but they come back. The check engine light w/ the above codes, usually comes on when firing up the car, but sometimes comes on during hard excelleration. The problem seemed to be sporadic before, but now is happening all the time. HELP!!!

P.S. No problems with stock tune in car.

Car mods in Sig.

Thanks
Scott

Scott, What is your location? You wouldn't happen to be close to Delray Beach FL would you?

Your mods sound very straight forward. You wouldn't be running the racer tune would you? That will cause your issues. If not, please get me your calid and I'll take a look at the tune in that rev and see if there is an issue.

Thanks,

Cal ID

Hi Mike,

Here's the Cal ID FBJR3G5

Hope this helps.

I'm scheduled for a dyno tune on Thurs. to try and resolve this issue. But i much rather not have to do that at this time and put that money towards some 4:10's, then the dyno!!

That tune looks ok. Are you running the racer tune with the street kit?

Sorry, my bad! I am thinking one thing and typing the other. There were 2 Steeda cold air kits once upon a time. Your's wouldn't happen to be an 85mm maf housing would it? If your cai is fairly new then it is likely the correct one. It should be 90mm. It sounds like there may be an issue with the car.

The racer is a C&L intake, I don't know why I went off on that path!

Oh that's a GOOD question!!!! I've had the car for a few months. All the current mods were on the car and the predator came with the car. BUT the car had the stock tune in it.

I'm gonna measure the housing. If it is 85 mm, is there an adjustment I can make? Or am I buying a new CAI?? If I'm buying one, would you recommed one over another?

Hey by the way, thanks for all the help so far!!
