to much fuel from chip!?
I just recently purchased my predator tuner and have installed the 100hp tune on my 2002 7.3l f250. My only complaint is that it is overfueling the engine... alot in my opinion. when im full throttle the engine even sounds like its way to rich. if i let off to about half throttle it feels faster and most definatly accelerates faster! If i can i would like to leave the chip as is and improve other aspects of the engine to utilize this extra fuel, any suggestions would be great. The engine makes about 26psi of boost at full throttle, egt guage reads 1560* F and will keep climbing if i do not let off. Is this normal for the chip to be running to rich? can i modify the chip to run less fuel without steping down to the 85hp setting? I have a 4" open exhaust from the turbo back, aem brute force intake, wicked wheel impellor, 100hp setting currently installed on my truck.

My temps used to run around 800-950F normal driving and 1000-1100F under medium load such as uphill driving with 100hp tune. I never let it go above 1200F.
Good luck

Anyone who has an issue with their tunes please post your calibration ID.Richd1963 wrote:"EGT 1560 F" would be my concern. Isn't that a little high?
