I'm very new to this modern technology but I do love it!! I have a 2004 Vette convertible and just has a shop put in 373 gears, P.I. torque converter, 2800 stall, LG longtube headers, Borla Stingers... it also has the twin cone air filters with C.A.I. I bought the Predator to help with the gearing, (speedo), and the performance tune is in.The car runs AWESOME!! but, I've read where some on the Corvette Forum think that this tune is too lean and I'm a little worried about hurting my car... I'd rather be safe than sorry. I wrote to MikeL and he said that he would write a tune for it and I greatly appreciate this but I didn't even put the tune in and now I'm trying to figure out how to go about sending my 'stock' tune in so I can get the new tune. I've read 5 pages of the Diablo Forum so far and Monte's sticky so I have an idea of where to start, now my questions,
Do you people think that I'm alright 'getting on it' for now, it smokes em in 1st and when shifting to 2nd, great for an automatic...
Can I redo the rev-limiter without redoing the tune? I heard that you go into modify, so when you do this do you adjust the rev-limiter then escape out? or do you enter it as a new tune after adjusting? want to know before I go into it, I also want to adjust the mph that the car downshifts, it does alright from 4th to 3rd, sounds like a stick shift, want to raise the mph that it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd and from 2nd to 1st when letting off the gas as when stopping for a light....Sorry this is soo long but, like I said, I am very new to this stuff but would like getting into ltft's and talk the talk and walk the walk. I would like to stay with the Predator for these mods and save the Dyno Tune for when I go to Heads and Cam.... Thank you very much for any and all information. Don't be shy, jump in and give me something...Thanks, Bob

RE: Lean condition???
Rather than trying to adjust the tune yourself, send me the backup and I'll have a new tune made for your setup.
I'll email you some instructions.
Thanks
