I was just wondering what the power increase in the 06 monte carlo ss should be?

Well, I don't know actual numbers, but you can DEFINITELY feel the difference!! It's a night and day difference from the factory/stock OEM setup.

Faster throttle response and quicker acceleration... plus once you get the fueling dialed in, your gas mileage will increase - even if you install the No DOD Performance Tune (that's the one I run) - it disables the DOD feature so you're always running on all 8 cyl... I have mine pretty much dialed in, and even though I'm always running on all 8, my mileage went up about 3mpg... suh-weet!!

cool... looks like pretty decent gains from stock - although I'm surprised they're that low to begin with....

GM rates it at 303HP and 323ft-lb torque... and I realize that's at the crank and not the wheels - but judging by your dyno sheet, the stock WHP is only about 232.50HP and the torque is about 272.50??? that still seems awfully low....

but going by your dyno graph, it's about a 13 HP gain, and torque is about a 20 ft-lb gain... pretty good!

I'm still surprised that the stock numbers at the wheels are that low to begin with... wow... I thought, and it feels like, it would be more than that.

oh, and what about an e.t.a. on the tranny tunes and support in our units?

Thanks man!!

The car we used had very low miles on it, i have seen vehicles pick up 10-20rwhp after the 5000mile mark once the engine and drive train is fully broken in. Plus we have a Superflow load bearing dyno and those numbers are always conservative, very true but conservative compared to a inertia dyno.
The TCM stuff, hmm, hmmmmmmmmmm, personally i would like to get cracking on that right away, but at the moment i can not give any eta other than it will get done.

I noticed that on the dyno sheet the power above 5500 rpm was less then stock, I was just wondering why and how can I get more power with out hurting the engine above 5500 rpm?

about the large torque increace in the low end, is that from torque management reduction? If so turning off T.M. completly would add more noticable torque?

It is not less, they taper together for a moment but then it goes back up.
The big gain down low is because we allow it to go into PE(power enrichment) much sooner, the stock file as you can see stays stoich a/f until 4k rpm then it goes into PE, we allow it to come in sooner, hence the big gain.
