For starters, as I mentioned in the email I sent you, I do not know who requested this log file.
Also, this is the Predator Ford section, and this is a GM tool, and should actually be posted in the Dataviever section.
I will move it to that section of the forum.

Thanks

There is a new beta coming out soon, thank you for the information. Can you tell me anything about the three computers that it crashed down? What version of Windows? Are you using a serial cable or a USB-to-Serial cable?

Thanks, John

I think I may have an idea of what is happening. A few more questions for you:

1. What is the version of the DataViewer you are running? I am assuming you are running 3.1.0.0 Beta 2 from the sticky, but please verify.

2. What is the version of your Predator? This would be the "Predator v.8x71" message at the top of your screen.

3. Is your predator connected to a vehicle at the same time you are connecting to the DataViewer? Or are you using a wall adapter for power when you are connecting to the DataViewer?

4. When exactly is the crash happening? At startup? At the "Querying Vehicle Information" stage? When you try and download a saved log from the Predator to the DataViewer?

If you are willing, and after you answer these questions, I would like to give you a new install today to try out.

Give this a run:

DataViewer 3.1.0.0 Beta 4

Uninstall the other one first.

Let me know if that version works. If it fails again, please post the contents of runtime.txt here. The more information you can give me the better. The DataViewer is very much in flux right now due to heaps of new development, but I would very much like to get it working for you since you are the only out-of-house user reporting issues right now.

When / if you try this, use this Beta instead: DataViewer 3.1.0.0 Beta 6

Thanks,
John
