I have a 2000 silverado. Modifications include gibson short headers, gibson cat back single exhaust, throttle body spacer, cats removed, k&n filter (I used an open air element from a 1999 tahoe). I removed the screen on the MAF but I have read that may have been a mistake. Immediately after I removed the cats my engine light came on. This was before the programmer was installed. I expect it has something to do with the rear O2 sensor but the programmer showed no codes. I plan on putting electric fans and an air tube bet the MAF sensor and the tb soon. I have already installed the 87 octane performance tune and I see good gains but the trans shifts very hard under normal driving agfter a part to full throttle run.
questions:
1. How can I correct the hard shifts
2. How can I disable the engine light
disable O2 sensor
disable cat cooling function
3. Can you further tune to maximize both 87 and 93 octane programs for my specific mods including future mods
I have the cable to connect to my PC so custom tunes be e-mailed?

1. Lower the part throttle and full throttle line pressures.
2. To turn off the CEL, select 'clear codes' under diagnostics.
To disable the rear O2 sensors and the COT, go into the modify parameters section and set COT to the max value and set the OBDII HO2S to 'off', then press escape until the Predator asks if you would like to install the tune.
3. The mods you list should not require any custom tuning.
Thanks

At COT there are 2 selections:
1. COT enable temp...I set it to 1200c
2. P-0420 & 430...did nothing here
At OBDII O2 sensor there are many codes to turn off
which do I select or turn all off?
I did not see a specific code when looked at the trouble codes
but the CEL light went off after reseting
I have not run my truck yet enough to see if the code will reappear but did I make the right change on the COT setting?
Can you tell me which code to turn off to disable the O2 sensor?

Mods:
gibson headers
cats removed
gibson single 3" exhaust
electric fans
TB spacer
open air cleaner
I have run both the 87 octane and 93 tune. The truck responded very well to both tunes. I have not seen any increase in mileage with either tune although it hasn't gotten worse.
My problem is that after a part to full throttle run the trans shifts very hard especially 1-2. I have the part throttle adjustment at it's softest setting but it still shifts way too hard. I have to turn the engine off and sit for 10-15 secs to get it to shift properly. Can the programmer be reset to go softer? Can you help?
