Diablo Flashed different VIN to PCM

I bought a diablo from on the forums and when I went to upload the performance tune it must of had the other guys VIN still on it and now my car wont start. It is a stock PCM in it right now. Any Help??? Please

so, was the tool in a recovery mode when you got it?

did it immediately ask if you want to restore the stock tune?

and i let it run through what it was doing and now the car doesnt work. and i called a guy at Ragetek and he said it probably flashed another VIN onto my PCM.

yeah...that was bad.

it has now blasted someone elses stock file into your car.

You will need to have the PCM reflashed at a dodge dealer, then fax us the paperwork showing it was reflashed.

DO NOT attempt to do anything with the predator until you fax us then call to have it reset.

ok I will do that and thanks for all of the help. I did call a dealer and asked them about having a reflash done and the guy seemed hesitant and he said that like the service supervisor needed to be there. They should have the capability to do this no problem right?

Alright so I took my car to the dealer 2 days ago and they still cant figure out how to reflash it. Is there anything you can tell me that I can tell them, so they get some idea? Cause I know it is possible atleast from what I have been reading.

if they told me they didn't know how to reflash it(at that dealer), I would be calling around to other dealers and get the hell out of there. It's no big deal for most places to do it, and it doesn't take 2 days. If you have to tell them how to do it, that's not good. Just call another dealer. Good Luck!

Flashing a car that has the wrong VIN in the PCM actually can suck. There is no way getting the right file back into that PCM. The software we use (chrysler software) uses the current VIN in the PCM to flash. So, when the dealer flashes that PCM all they are doing is flashing it with the wrong file for that car again. I can flash whatever part number I want into a PCM that doesnt have a VIN burned in it yet. Once the VIN is written youre screwed. I have tried to flash PCM's with different part numbers for the wrong VIN and it will not take because of the VIN. Is there a way around it. Maybe, I havent gotten that deep into it but have gotten pretty close. I know the Chrysler flash software is very limited.

I know you guys can do it, but the dealer may not be able to.
