A = Air
F = Fuel
R = Ratio

Air to Fuel Ratio
A:F

Air first (big number) then Fuel (smaller number). Both numbers are scaled so that Fuel = 1.

Stoichiometric (gas) = 14.7:1 = 14.7 parts Air to 1 part Fuel.

Fuel costs more than Air. So if your mix has more fuel in it it's richer.

If you don't have a wide-band sensor, you're not seeing the true AFR. The only PID I know of is the "desired" AF, and it means nothing.

Move the slider the other way. The wording in the tuner is confusing and most guys end up pulling fuel when they mean to add.

whats confusing? to the left is rich to the right is lean so what ur saying is if i move the slider to the right wich sais lean its actually making it rich that does not make any sence

No, you have it correct already. Moving to the left is adding %'s of fuel

Snakejr...certainly some inconsistent items, I agree. Are you anywhere near where you can go to one of the CMR dealers? You have enough mods where it is worth it to get that thing tuned professionally. Be aware the adjustments we can make will only effect your AFR at WOT and not otherwise.

You already tried it everyone else's way and it had the opposite effect you wanted... I believe it says "lean" meaning the truck is running lean.

acording to the wide band afr i am running lean but what im saying is the more fuel i add (moving the slider to the left "rich")makes it run leaner

it's to be moved to "lean" when it's running lean... have you tried it out to move it in the other direction? what does your LTFC and STFC tell you?
