While doing some burnouts, I am trying to figure out the best way to turn off the ESP. The first burnout I left the ESP on and when the tires broke free you could feel the car hold back. Next time I hit the dash button and turned off the ESP and again you could feel the car hold back. Next with the ESP back on I slowly rolled foward and turned the key fob to the crank position and the ESP/BAS light came on and again you can feel the car holding back while power braking into a burnout. I read somewhere that when you do the key trick (crank while slowly going foward), you need to turn off the ESP by hitting the button on the dash first. Is that true? I have not tried it that way yet. Will turning off the ESP with the Predator do a better job than all of the above methods?
I have an 09 Charger RT with CAI and 91tune.
Thanks

RE: Disable ESP
If you use the Predator to put the car into "dyno" mode, you're lose more than ESP. You lose ESP, BAS, ABS and Cruise Control.
