Can anyone advise me on the time it takes to get an RMA? Submitted info yesterday and today is rapidly coming to a close...

I do not see your name in our system. Was it under the name Nick Goodrich? Did you receive a RMA# already? If so what is your RMA#? Or you requested a RMA# and you are waiting for one to be issued to you? Any more info to help me get to the bottom of this for you? Thanks

It was under the name Nick Goodrich, i checked my credit card statement, it is not posted therefore i will re-apply for the RMA.

So, you submitted an rma request for a locked U7194?

I replied to it the first time you sent it, and again today....if it is locked, it can be unlocked for $129 over the phone.
No need to send it in here.

ok, i have been able to deduce that the unit is locked, no prob, but i still cannot get the computer to connect.

is that a problem with the locked status or something in the computer?

USB to serial cable?

Did you install the drivers for the cable....?

yep, my computer sees it as "USB to Serial Bridge", 115,200, 8,N,None, Com 4. not sure about the Irq tho...

i tell the Diablo to "PC Comminications" and its seems to try for a while...

there is no PC communications selection in a U7194, any idea what it really is?

in your 7194, look under OPTIONS or TROuBLESHOOTING for the "BAUD RATE"... select 115,200, even though it may look like it's highlighted and selected already, just highlight it and select it anyway...


the other settings for your USB cable in device manager look correct, except for the stop bit... should be 8/N/1

everything else is set to what it should be and is ok.

It was a U7193...old...
