i dont know if anyone has told you, but we all appreciate your hard work trying to get us fixed up. I know it doesnt seem like it with all the bad comments on here. But when you do get then to us they will be worth the wait.
i know guys, trust me. The frustration from you guys is to be expected and trust me if frustrates me as well that i can't supply you guys with the tunes...once i get the templates it should only take me a few hours to get the tunes ready for some testing...on a side note...stock v.s. stock do the l30's feel any better then the l20s power wise? How about regen?..more or less?
my L30 feels the same. last time it was in the shop i paid for the 65$ for the new update and cant tell any difference. doesnt regen as much. miliage is around 12-13 with banks cold air. do have a problem when getting in to the pedal a little it wants to start missing and finally clears up . doesnt do it all the time but enough to bug me . wondering if it is the injectors or the ERG valve. ANY IDEALS.
check that egr....the 6.4 i haven't seen many injector issues with. Many people have similar issues and the tech's tell them the valve is fine...until they remove it and find it caked with carbon buildup. Seafoam the passages if you can while your at it.
before i go and reserch the location and material to clean the egr valve. is there any advice on where to look and what i need to clean the valve. havent had the 6.4 long.
I sent an email to get the guys above me...(attached with an angry email from a customer about the templates) to try and "inspire" them to get a move on...6 weeks is ridiculous for this stuff. Anyway I have heard the egr valve on these trucks likes to seize to the housing its on...and requires some sort of tool to remove it, which eventually breaks after using it a bunch of times haha. Hopefully someone with actual experience will chime in here soon with a procedure for doing it..
