2008 chevy silverado questions

Hello there, new to site. Looking at purchasing an 08 silverado but debating over a few things because of my buddy's 07. These new trucks have a "v4" and "v8" mode on them to help with fuel mileage. If you put dual exhaust under them, when it switches to "v4" mode it sounds like crap. Is it possible for the predator to change when that kicks in? Is that something that a custom tune would have to fix? New to programming so please be patient and will try to soak all the new info in. Thank you, Les.

Changing when it kicks in would require custom tuning, but you can turn it off with the predator and stay in V8 mode.

Great!! That's what I was really wondering. That means all I have to worry about now is daytime running lites (I hate those things) and the tire monitors. (Coming from a tire retail and repair shop I know how big a pain in the a$$ those are too) Thank you ery much for your help and when I get the truck purchased I will look a little closer at your programmer for it, cause you can never have enough power.
