2005 DODGE DURANGO

Post by raisi81 »

Hello,
I saw that your predator supports 2007-2008 DURANGOs, are there any plans to support 2005 models?

Looking forward to your response.

Best Regards,

Yes, we will eventually add 05-up applications after a bit more testing.

Hi Mike,

Does U-7137 Predators support 2005 Durangos 5.7L Hemi?
The product chart shows only 2007 & 2008 models, so I am confused!

2005 is supported. I confirmed it with MikeL on friday. You can get one here: http://www.concoursdirect.com/dodge-ram ... dator.html

2004's are not supported with the latest revision.

Thank you guys, but I wish some more parameters are added like:
Fan settings
O2 disable
EGR disable
shift firmness
ESP Dyno Mode
BTW, what is the "Threshold Pressure Adjustment" is all about?

O2 and EGR are no longer offered as per EPA regulations, if you need them altered, see a CMR dealer for a custom tune.

Threshold adjustment is for the TPMS system.

EPA?what EPA?? I live at the other side of the world (Middle East) So no EPA whatsoever exists here and no CMR as well :( ...so is there any special treat for us no US Hemi owners?
As for the cooling fans adjustments,it applies to both US and non-US Durangos.
Thanks

Hello, I have bought the U7137 Predator for My 2005 Durango 5.7L. I started facing problems from the first attempt to tune the vehicle. Intially a message saying my car needs an update and I should get it from diablosport.com/dcx. After installing the update. I was able to start the tuning. However, it did not complete successfully. The message "Please turn key off, then on" kept repeating for 3 times before the whole tune failed. Now, when switching on the predator, I am getting "the last tune did not finish. the original will be stored". This also failes with a message "can't restore original backup. it was already restored or never saved". I tried skipping this step by selecting "ESC" and then "Performance Tune", a message says "unable to read vehicle type.please make sure the ignition is on and the engine is not running".
This is totally a mess and I kindly request you to assist me. I am not able to use the predator anymore.

Looking forward to your response.

Hello, I have followed the instructions you have suggested (disconnecting and re-connecting the vehicle's battery) and now when choosing Performance Tune option a message says, "please turn key ON and do not start engine". After hitting Continue for 3 times a message says "Unplug the tool and try again". I do not know what to do next. I would appreciate if you could call me on my mobile number: +96899458672 and help me out.

I too just bought the U7137 for my 05 durango and I went through the exact same problems as raisi81 did above. Mike have you made any progress on this issue?

Thanks,

I also have a 2005 durango and the same thing happened to me, wish I had seen this before I bought it. Any updates would be helpful, thanks

The same thing happens to me with my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hemi - except I never even got to tune at all. I connected it to my Jeep, selected "performance tune" and it didn't recognize the key cycle.

I was under the impression that v9r05 addressed the key cycle issues - apparently not. Hopefully this can get resolved quickly.
