05 predator puck stack, mileage, egt's and smoke questions

I have an 05 with the predator puck stack, just got back from about 2000km's and have some questions. first off, my mileage was greatly improved, not sure excatly, but i gained about 150 km per tank, almost a hundred miles, at 120km/h. thanks diablo...

i first ran extreme stacker, but with the puck even on low, the egts would hit 1400 and climbing just about instantly at WOT, slowed them down a little with the puck off, next i loaded performance stacker with the puck off, same thing, just a bit slower, (all this was with the fooler on) next i unhooked the puck completly and the fooler, and ran just the performance non stack, was better, nice power but will still peg the guage in about 3 second at WOT, boost fooler doesn't change much maybe takes 1 extra second. on cruise at 120 (75 ish) temps are about 750-1100 on a steep hill, boost is about 6psi- 25 on a steep hill. the truck smoked pretty good with the stacker tunes, on performance in a no boost/lockup situation, i can still smoke out the person behind me.
i previously had a bullydog triple dog, and could hold it to the floor in extreme and only get about 1050 degrees post turbo, i only ran it briefly with my new pre turbo pyro, but it never got above 1300.
does everything sound normal, or do the high temps sound odd? the power is awsome, but i think i need a turbo to make it driveable, even on the lower settings it seems. i have heard people say the bully dog alters the stock program, but in stock tune it seems normal, checking codes with the diablo, i also have a permanent code, skim key missing or something like that, i think its from the bd, thats kinda why i think the stock program might be funky, any opinions? sorry about the long post...

Sounds normal. i bigger turbo will definitely help. I used to hit 1500 degrees easily with my Quadzilla race Box but this Predator only pushes the temps up to 1250 max.....

how do you like the 62/12 turbo?? i'm debating a phatshaft 62/12 or 62/14 or a superphat shat 62/14, but i have not seen alot of guys running a 12, does it drive pretty close to stock but with better cooling? i want the bigger turbo but no driveablity problems. mine's an 05 so i don't thing i will have the cel problems as you do.

defleshed, i have the sps 62/14 and let me tell you that hairdrier is awesome. brandon @ industrial injection spent some time over the phone with me and suggested this one to me.now.......it iz laggy on the take off...after about 18-20 p.s.i. that thing spools in a hurry. the brass elbow allen screw can be turned in for more boost. the stock head gasket on our dodges DO NOT LIKE OVER 50 p.s.i. according to other in different forums. this turbo can spool to 65 p.s.i. acoording to brandon. i think you will be happy with it. want lower e.g.t.'s.. water menthanol injection and more power.

Did you try the tow tune mine wont get above say 1250 with a 30' cattle trailer, but with the preformance tune it can shoot up very quickly w/o a trailer. Also when using the regular tunes it isnt nessary to remove the puck just leave it in the stock setting.

With my 05' and stock turbo, I could hit 1600 degrees VERY quickly. Now that I've got a better turbo, this is not a problem. You guys need to realize that in order to use all the fuel the Predator can give you, you need different hard parts. Turbo, intake, exhaust, fuel system, and trans work if you want all the power to get to the gound and stay in one piece...

i see ur milage is in kms,where in canada are ya from?i have the keyskim thing too,not sure what it means,sounds like its from using a key without a chip thing from dodge,i did get a key made so i expected it but otheres are surprised by it.

i'm in grande prairie ab, i've never had a key made, i used to run a bullydog, i think its from that....

trik396- what turbo do you have, how does it spool, and how high can you run your stack at reasonable egts?

dodgzilla - same questions as above, i'm really thinking about a 62/12 because i want it to still spool ok, plus i don't plan on any other mods but the stack/trans/lift pump and turbo, does yours have a 65 or 71 mm turbine??
