C5 fuel cutoff

Post by Twisted99 »

Is there a way now (searched found nothing) or in a future upgrade, to reset the 2mph fuel cutoff that GM imstalled on C5 Corvettes with the column lock recall?

Not that I have seen...but I thought there were aftermarket solutions to defeat column lock?

Yeah, I already have a column lock bypass, and a "locking plate" that can't lock.
The problem is part of the GM sets the fuel cutoff at 2 mph if the BCM "thinks" the column is locked.

Is there ANY chance that a future update for the U7198 will allow users to edit the fuel cutoff? I know EFI Live and HP Tuner software allows you to change it, but I would rather stick with the hand held Diablosport for ease and cost, but I absolutely MUST edit this setting.

I spoke with someone at Diablosport back in December, and was told there may be a new product out in March/April for the C5 Corvette. Any news?

That would be inTune, it is scheduled to be ready soon, but I amnot sure if your C5 application will be part of the initial release.
