what is the problem?
is it a bad tool or there is no file for my truck?
i have been hanging around these boards trying to find a fix. can i just send it back for a new one. or is there no program for my truck. i am not "really" upset about all of this, its just i spent a few hundred dollars on a product that does not work as advertised. try bugging the acountants about a refund...;)

you tool is working properly. But, your truck's PCM calibration from GM is not currently supported by the Predator. Not every 8.1L GM truck has the same software. The Predator must confirm compatibility before attempts to install tuning or else your truck will not run properly. So, when you sent your software information to DiabloSport, the engineers have to make a new Predator software that recognizes and properly tunes your truck. That is the hold up.

it really depends on the engineers workload, and of course the complexity of your file. Usually it takes a couple of weeks to add an unsupported calibration to a current tool. But, for the 6.4L Power Stroke guys, it has taken 8 weeks because the dealer update caused an entire template change, not just a value change, which means they had to remap the computer template to understand where each parameter is located on the PCM hard drive.

So, it really depends on how different your PCM software is to other calibrations that are currently supported and, of course, how many other projects the engineers are working on for their other products and customers.

so i am just left chasing my own tail...less $375.
if there is no software for my application should i be entitled to a refund?(i would rather have software, i have a predator in my 02 8.1 and reallyyyyy like it). it has been several months with no real respone. on july 10th mikel said it should be done soon. heck you have given a better response. i am just trying to stay on top of this til it gets resolved.
