i keep getting codes

Post by mhilton »

ever since i installed the predator tune on my truck i have consistently recieved fuel delivery errors and now a fuel metering malfuction. i have replaced the cp3. the LP, the actuator 2X, i am nearing my ends with this truck. 6 inch lift, 35's, 6 inch stacks, CAI, Fuel Boss LP, when it is not throwing codes i pull 35+mpg and shit loads of sky darkening smoke. 5.9 short bed any ideas, i only have 68,000 miles on it. it only tows a boat.

Come on now! There is not a full sized pickup on the planet getting that kind of mileage!!!

As far as your problem, I'd check the rail pressure sensor on the fuel rail first.....

i have no reason to BS anyone. the mileage is legit. it helps that i am at sea level. all of the sensors have been replaced by the dealer. i have had the truck to the dealer numerous times for the fuel delivery error and most times the tech uses his magic box resets the computer and sends me on my way. btw check out a diesel power mag and look at some of the mileage numbers being posted. 35 is not out of the question.

Oh man this made me LMAO...

Even with the overhead 35+ is pretty optimistic.
