Ahhh...OK, once again, what happened?
What order did everything happen?

I hate to say it, but you (or whomever decided it was a good idea to play with 2 different programmers inthe same car) are the only one that can figure out how to undo this, since it has to be undone in the opposite order it was done.

did your SCT save a copy of the diablo tune as its "original backup" or stock tune??

if so, then use the SCT to restore the orignal/stock tune - which would be the copy of the diablo tune it saved...

then try using the predator to see if it still recognizes that tune file as the last tune written.

i tried that already the car wouldn't start !
but when i install the sct tune it starts with no problems but crappy driving
and when i try to install the procharger tune on the diablo which was the last tune written on the car from the same device it would'nt reinstall
and again i tried doing everything backwards and still it says the same.
both the sct and the diablo has the supercharger tune but for some reason the one on the diablo is alot better so please dudes anything on your minds would be helpful ...

Well, unfortunately, sounds like your best option here is to take the car or a ford dealer, have them flash the car back to stock, then fax me the paperwork fromthe dealer, call with the tool powered up, and we will reset the Predator.

You can then use the Predator no problem, not sure what to tell you about the other tool, except to NOT mess with it while the pred tune is inthe car.

Problem is, there is no fee for an issue like this, if things are this confused, you messed up real good, and a reflash is the only option here.

I already told u the dealer won't take the car in and since the original backup it self was the tune from sct that your tuner saved as the original back up for the car and that's why i can't understand why itsn't working! , i did mess up yes but your not helping me with my mistakes as a client and i have 2 of your tuners man, just tell me how to force the original back up on the car so it would show it as the last tune written and then i can reinstall the procharger tune with the same device with no problems just humor me with this thing only and i'll stop complaining for good
and why would u annoy people with a password for a small thing like that ?

There is nothing 'small' about forcing a backup file, if done incorrectly it will leave a vehicle as a no start, thus we require a password. ALso, if it does not want to restore on its own, there is generally a very good reason for that.

If you are insistant that getting whatever is saved in the predator back into the PCM is your fix, call us with the tool powered up and we will force the backup, but please keep in mind I can take no responsibility for whatever happens as a result of this, as I am recommending against it.

Thanks
Mike
