question on u7145

I have a u7145 and have come across a MMR intake with high flow tube. The CAI has a S&B filter on it just like the JLT. Can I load the JLT canned tune into it? I run a 93 tune right now with just a drop in K&N filter. My car is mostly stock (tuner,axleback) What do you recommend trying before I can afford a dyno tune?

We have not tested with an MMR intake, so it is not easy to say.
The difference in the tunes is the design of the MAF housing, rather than the filter size/style.
If the MAF curve generated by the MMR is not similar to the curve in the JLT tune, then the car will run poorly.

I would suggest you contact one of our CMR tuners to see if you find one that is familiar with that intake, that may be able to provide you a simple tune for your CAI.

so, can I install the MMR and not change the tuner from the OEM intake setting and still see results. Or should I not put it on at all.

I would not use it until you get a proper tune for the intake.
