Pred wont read codes?

anybody else not able to read codes. my check engine light keeps coming on and i can clear it but it won't tell me what the hell it is. i have the pred puck stack and a stage 2 intake if that helps.It's also acting funny when i floor it with the puck on keeps studering. any ideas?

Mine won't read codes either but it will clear them. Use the key trick to read the codes and let us know what they are. Turn the key on and off three times really quick. The last time you turn it to "On" hold it there and your codes will flash in the odometer screen.
Check your connections on the Puck if they are loose the truck will do weird things....

I sure wish Johan was done with that Hemi stuff so he could give our 7131s some attention.....

Thanks for the tip. the code that it's sending is P0148. where can i find out what that is?

yep and now it says fuel rail preasure to high. isn't that what the puck is suposed to prevent?

Actually I think the puck pushed the limit. Apatently a bit too far on yours...

I have a rail pressure guage and even on the 50hp setting I hit 27000psi which is about 2000psi higher than you really want to see. Pressure is about the same on the 90hp setting. With only the Predator on the truck the pressures stay at 23500psi max. I only run the Puck if I don't have the Predator on the truck.
I've seen that code a couple of times and it may come back eventually but it is usually not a big deal.....

im running the same thing you are and have seen this prolly 3 times....
does it stutter all the time or just randomly....do you have the most recent tune for the 7131 and are you running the puck tune

the r16. and just every once in a while. and puck is on. got my boost fooler in today we'll have to see how that goes i'll keep yall posted

my puck had a loose wire....start your truck and open the hood....push,pull and wiggle all wire connections slightly to and from the puck . i sent mine in for pred to check out and they didnt even find the loose wire...i found it when i got it back and it was doing the same thing when they said it was fine...guess they dont wiggle the wires when testing them out for problems.
other than that it has been fine with no surging or cutting out since.....
