extreme puck and trinity stack

Post by dozerdogue »

Well I just ordered the extreme puck for 09' Ford F-350 6.4 and it will be here Monday to stack with my trinity. I hope it does add HP to the extreme tune. If anyone knows how much or how noticeable it is please reply. I also have a second question on the trinity I get 2 EGT signals 1 and 2 which one should I be keeping an eye on and where are they located? fInally what should my egt's not exceed on which egt sensor?

you will love the stacking feature, providing regen stays in check. These trucks will take some serious abuse. EGT 1 i believe is right on the down pipe, and then the other is further down. 1400 F is the max you want to see, if your seeing those numbers, your foot needs to be off the pedal.

How much additional HP can I expect on extreme mode and how noticeable is it. Also where should I put the dial to get the max hp? someone somewhere said not all the way up as it may get finnicky although that was a 6.0. Also should I be going by the egt sensor in the down pipe readings or the one further down? Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the quick reply. One more thing I will need the instructions on how to install it on my 6.4 Ford as the PDF link for the installation on the website does not work.

instructions will come with the puck, I will email you the instructions if you need them. To be modest on the power gains i would say 500+ rwhp and over 1000 ft lbs. Transmissions tend to give up the ghost around these power levels so be careful, and yes it will be noticeable, especially on the low end. To get max power, turn it all the way to the right for 100%, i would start at 50% and see how the truck does though first. You want to pay attention to the one on the downpipe for egt.

email sent..

I am considering upgrading from the predator to the trinity. What kind of horse power would i be looking at with a trinity power puck stack on a 2007 6.0L?
2007 6.0L tweeked...Volant intake, MBRP 4" Exhaust, Power elbow, Extreme power puck, predator, ARP head studs, EGR delete kit, and Built tranny...6" Procomp lift, and 35"X12.5" on 20's...
