ok, so that log was from your stock GM tune...
well, the log worked fine for me...
has 22,768 usable data points...
and you're running rich -- average ltft's are at -8.80xx and -10.15xx... and recommendation is to go +8 on injector slope setting...
and once you DO install a diablo tune, it will probably be about the same, since the diablo tune doesn't adjust the slope at all for part-throttle fueling, but you'll have to actually install a tune and see...
so, what it comes down to again, is an installation issue... you're not installing it correctly, under the correct actual admin account with full admin priviledges...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: custom tune ?
PLEASE install it from an administrator account.vette.c5 wrote:OS : W7 pro 64
tried without any change : error message
tried in XP compatibility mode : error message
tried in XP compatibility mode as administrator : no error message, but "no data" everywhere
tried in virtual XP : "no data", with my log, or with the test one
uninstalled from W7, so, no error screenshot
that was about security access to folders and others
my log size is 9Mo
I also recommend turning User Account Control OFF for the install. Actually, I recommend turning it OFF all together, but that's another post/discussion.
I am 99.9999% sure that it was/is being installed without full security rights. Again, log on as an admin when installing and run it as an admin

Again..... i am 99.99% sure this is an access/rights issue where Bill Gates is trying to save us from ourselves by making the OS fussy as heck.vette.c5 wrote:Thanks
I'll do some logs later, I'll install a wideband O2 sensor in place of a stock one
And I'll make some others tests, I don't understand why the soft returns "no data"
Uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs....
Re-boot
Turn UAC OFF (user account control) Control Panel--> Security
Install from an ADMIN account and I'll bet a malted beverage that this goes away.
If it worked for Lew and myself with no manipulation, then it points to your installation.
I have seen this before when installing from a non-admin account.

yeah, like grumpy said...
you don't have correct permissions on the user account you installed the app with and are trying to run it with...
number of cruise data points in your screenshot is 0... meaning it didn't allow you access to the file to run its algorithms, due to security permissions, so there is no data - cuz it's not letting you access it.
you can just "run" the app as an administrator... you have to INSTALL it as a full administrator account as well, otherwise, not everything gets installed correctly with the correct permissions...
and it does work fine on Win7 64, as there are others that are using it... it all comes down to permissions, and how you install it and run it...

Well, given that i have tested the file you posted on WIn7x64 Pro, Win7x86 HP, Win XP Pro 64, and XP Pro x86, all giving me the same, identical findings that I posted above, the only wisdom I can offer you is to uninstall it, RE-DOWNLOAD IT, and try again.vette.c5 wrote:installed as administrator on W7 and UAC off: "no data"

IF that doesn't work, it's something unique to your machine, such as a corrupted .Net framework install, etc., or a corrupted OS, or something bizzarre that is way out in left field.
I am not sure what to tell you.
I mean, we have had hundreds, if not thousands, of downloads, problems such as this that can be counted with two hands with fingers to spare, all of which have been resolved easily... it kinda points to something unique to your machine.
Not that it matters, but you are NOT running Win7 x86 over a 64bit machine, are you? You indicate that it is WIn7 x64. That is not always by default by virtue of a 64 bit processor. Many vendors are now shipping 64 bit processors with 32 bit windows 7 (believe it or not). It IS possible, and, generally works OK, but just curious.
