Hope you have some beefiness in the tranny. The 4L60E is not really known for being good in pulling heavy loads.

I have an 04 Silverado as well, w/ the 5.3, and the previous owner was towing a huge trailer. It had to go to the dealer at 34k to have the tranny rebuilt. (I bought it at 32k).

Hit up Monte on here... he does an awesome tuning for trucks. He did the tune for my truck, and it was great, but I quit using it because I went back to 87 octane.... which reminds me...

Where at in WV? I live in the northern panhandle.

As for upgrades....vette servo is a must!!! Wouldn't hurt to do the OD servo either....for the tranny that is!
I have both and its a world of a difference for the overall tranny performance.

Do you have your LTFT's dialed in as well???

The fine tuning of the Long Term Fuel Trims will greatly enhance the canned performance tune of your truck. I did some data logging on mine (I have never messed with a tuner of any kind until I went out on a whim and bought this one.) Adjusted the trims and BAM! big, big difference in overall performance I could feel!

I am from Moundsville so I know what its like to pull some of the bad ass hills to and from Mo-town!

Let me know if you need help!

just a little advice, ditch those e3 plugs they are junk. Acdelco iridium plugs run the best. The e3 and bosch +4's are all marketing hype don't buy into it. i can't tell you how many customers i've sold them to who have come right back a few hours later pissed that their car doesn't run on all cyl or runs like dog sh*t.

ok went and logged my ltft they were 9 to 10 % so i went back neg. -9 and now fuel trim is -1 % cruiesing at 70 mph for about 30 miles they stayed at -1 % the whole time so i take it that is good ? truck runs really well.

went and put my truck on a dyno finally the guy was very savy with your programmer he played with it for about 2 hours , he got 321 rwhp and 380 flbs of torque , not to bad i think using less fuel than before but same horse power but not running lean.

he said my ltft were good so in went in and advanced the timing 16% started spark nock at 5900 rpm so he backed off to 14% and took away some fuel at both ends of wot 11% on both he said i was was running kinda fat on both running about 12 on the fuel according to his dyno , truck screams , did replace mech. fan with a flex flow fan 16 inch 2800 cfm.
