air fuel ratio gauge

I keep reading that optimal air fuel ratio for fuel economy is 14.7 and performance between 12.8 and 13.2. What gauge can I put on my layout to see what my ratios are?

None, you need to get a wideband.

Any suggestions on brand that works with Trinity and will this plug into the Trinity as analog? Is this even needed or can other gauges be used during logging to help a custom tuner? I would like to do this but think I would be way over my head.

I bought an LC-1 from innovate
not yet installed, but several analog outputs, (3 if I remember) , 1 to replace stock signal, 1 for trinity and 1 for ...

I have the same question. I looked around and didn't see any specifics on how anyone has done this. Such as exactly what sensor and how to wire it. I'm not real sure where to start. I want to do a boost gauge eventually too.

You can't just get a wideband sensor, you need a controller as well. The controller is what outputs the analog signal the Trinity can read. As said above, the PLX, Zeitronix and LC-1 are nice units that have analog output.

So do the above connect directly to the trinity? or do i need to buy a separate cable? also, can i achieve the same results with an aftermarket A/R Autometer Gauge on a stock jeep srt-8? Looking to do more custom tuning but need to read air/fuel. I dont mind having to get a pillar pod for extra gauges.

None of the connect directly to the Trinity. You'll need to get a cable to hook up the the wideband's analog output that connects to the Trinity on the other end. Here is more info: http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... ic&t=20314

I sure do wish Diablo would release the analog cable. I'm going to have to make one of those and my soldering jobs look like a monkey did it. lol
