RE: U7164
I'm willing to bet if he buys a new Diablo programmer it won't work. Most of the 2008 F250's that have had any work, even an oli change has a strong chance of getting flashed. I took my truck in on a factory recall on the radiator resevoir cap leaking, they flashed it..I'm beem waiting for 10 weeks for the L30 codes and am still waiting...(Behind the NEW Camaros) 100,000 Ford F250's and 1000 Cameros..go figure...

RE: U7164
This is why we dont go to the DEALER !!!!!!
RE: U7164
Again, I ask, if it sounds like false advertising and diablosport tells people that if you have the L30 calibrations it wont work, then how will a custom know what calibration they have before purchasing one?
Why doesnt the dealer pay the customer for causing an inconvenience with their flashing a truck with an optional upgrade that the customer did not request when going in for a radiator repair or oil change? The dealer is writing up frivolous work and billing ford. All that does is make your next truck more expensive. PCM reflashes are specifically outlined in service bulletins to only be installed if a customer complains of certain symptoms.

You have to go to the dealer to get "Factory Recalls" performed, (like I did for a leaking raditor resivoir cap) unless you want to pay for the repair or replacement part out of your pocket..As for Dealers reflashing, they do it because the service bullitin states that "reflashing" with the new codes will improve performance or mileage or some other BS...This is why we dont go to the DEALER !!!!!!
As I mentioned I think all the Chip or programmers are having problems with the new Ford F250 L30 codes. I was going to sell my Diablo Predador and buy a Superchip unit, but did not because after I researched the Superchip, I discovered they are having problems too. So it is not just Diablo..So here I drive woth bad diesel mileage patiently waiting (11 Weeks) for the codes...
