RE: 6.4 extreme puck staking with pred
this became a serious interest as of late haha
There arent really any downfalls to stacking other then the added stress to the trans etc. The puck works as an injector pressure modifier, which is untouched in the tunes thanks for fords fuel pressure clip. Mileage may suffer a bit but i would say another 100hp/150 ft lbs is not out of the question with the puck on its highest setting. The puck has a knob and can be adjusted from 0 to 100% while the truck is running.

Or if you have a Trinity you can adjust it via the touch screen while monitoring.

I stacked my pred with the puck for some time. I didn't notice any mileage change, not that your worried about mileage PIC LOL!!! The change i really noticed was bottom end, the puck at around 50% really helped at the bottom end!!!

The puck is a sick addition to a 6.4.
I have never been as sideways in a giant truck as I was in a 6.4 with a puck on it one day. Fun.

No shifting issues, it plugs in using OEM style connectors under the hood, nothing too complicated.
Adds power through the whole curve, its nice.

Helps alot with take off pic, just don't get greedy with it, I have seen the stock tranny's take over 1200 ft lbs, just don't do any high boost launches.

I have the trinity on an 09' 6.4 with K&N CAI stacked with the extreme puck. all I can tell you is when their stacked you get much better gains then just using the puck alone. I shaved over 3 seconds going up a 3-5 degree incline with the puck set on 100% and the trinity on the 80hp perfromance setting and the traction control off. with the TC on I'm sure I could do even better but I don't want to kill my tranny. The truck basically hesitates for a second and launches like a rocket smoking the tires till almost 50mph. On level ground the truck would be much faster but I need to find a safe place to do it. I will be doing some futre testing and reporting hard numbers. If I were to guess a launch with the brake on in 4wd would reulst into the low 14's easy. Thats in a 8223lb crew cab lariat loaded with every option. The trinity is a nice additition as it alows you to monitor and do performance testing such as 0-60, 1/8th, 0-100mph and 1/4 mile. I also can keep an eye on several gauges to see whats going on.

The puck is simply an octagon shaped plastic box about 2-3 " in diameter thaat velcros to where I mounted it on the air intake shield for my K&N. A line then goes from the puck into the cab with either a dial or a 2.5 mm plug adaptor for the trinity to plug in through the firewall under the dash. The other line goes to a harness that has a male and female 15prong adaptor that simply plugs into your fueling timing I believe. It's a very simple proceduree to install and with a few zip ties you can do it easily in 15 minutes. I could probably do it 5 minutes now that i have done it before a couple of times.pic350ford wrote:What???????? What other kind of launch is there??????? lol
