I didnt mean your situation bulldoglover. the vast majority of these customer reflashes are not symptom related or are part of the repair for a problem. They are optional, unrequested, unnotified, dealer repairs thrown into the repair order by the dealer to soak Ford.

Concoursed. I agree with you 100% I did not want or need a flash. They did it without telling me. I'm pissed, but what do you do. If you ask them . they will make up some BS that it was necessary to improve your performance or the big S word.(Safety Issue) My truck ran fine. I guess the leaking radiator cap was a reason to reflash...

I would have asked to see the TSB that outlined how a reflash was recommended as par to the repair for the symptom of a leaking radiator cap.
