OK, will sending in my predator for updating solve the compatabiliy issues? I am having some work done Friday and will pick up the truck Wednesday. I will ask the dealership to flash the most current program. If the predator still wont communicate, then what?

turn-around time is usually 2 weeks...

since it's locked, it will cost you an additional $50 to get it unlocked... so your total cost for the upgrade plus unlock would be $149...

Any help for me? Was there any reason to supply my calibration ID's and engine size?

Well, lucky me. I found out it is the Predator. A tech at the dealership had a new one for his 2005. He returned his truck to stock and hooked the diablo to mine. It worked, so Ill be sending in for a RMA to get the upgrade.

sweet!!

cool deal man, at least that answered that for ya...

so ya know that your calibration ID's are supported by the new revisions, so no need to get your truck flashed/updated at a dealer and pay any money for that...

and if it wasn't supported by the older version you're on now, then the next suggestion was going to be to send it in for the upgrade, cuz they're not updating those old revisions to support newer calibration ID's anymore...

good deal...

you'll be happy when ya get it for sure!

Just bought a 09 Sierra with 5.3 L. Z-71. What do I need to do to wake it up more. I had the U7192 on my 06 Silverado that I traded and wonder if it will wake this truck up like the other. I also had the k-77 intake, magnaflow exhaust and TB spacer.

I am curious too about something. I have read some of the forums where guys have said that there trucks would smoke the tires, I DID everything I could think of to my 06, 310 hp, with the programmer and all that I COould get was a small chirp. What was I doing wrong, need to know for this truck
