'98 Cobra not passing smog test

I recently purchased a U7146 for my Cobra and have been using the performance tune. Since i need to have the vehicle smogged (CA) I put the stock tune back in the car. I have put over 200 miles on it since and still i cant pass smog due to the 2nd air system, 02 senson and 02 heater tests signaling that they are in "not ready" mode. How can i get the system back up so I can get smogged and registered?

Are the systems that are failing properly hooked up and installed on the car? You need to make sure of this as removing something like the AIR pump will cause these issues, but the only fix is to reinstall or repair these units.

Yes. The car has no problems and passed fine before the predator. All smog equipment is working and on the car. Only mods are: CAI, 3.73 gears. Car is basically stock. Please HELP! Thanks.

It sounds like you may have installed the factory hp tune, instead of the original backup. Power the Predator up and go to:
Options/
Show last tune written

This should read 'Original backup'
If it says something else, go back and restore the backup as per your instruction manual.

Unfortunately, not the case. It showed original backup. What's next? Oh, I forgot to mention the car has magnaflow mufflers too if that makes any difference..

I really need to get this problem taken care of. Should i try re-installing the original back up again?

If you have the original backup installed, and you still cannot pass, then there is an issue with the car.
Your PCM is as stock as the day it came from Ford, so the car SHOULD pass. I would have an emissions repair shop take a look at it.
