IMO this needs fix'in - external PID logging

I got a AFR input to my trinity logging AFR.

When not hooked up to the car and playbacking the log, the External PID does not show up. When hooked up it shows.

This is a problem. When sSending logs to my email tuner he does not see the external PID.

What I have to do is when hooked up...export the log to a csv file.

The problem with this is the csv file is huge.

Are you using the latest DV Beta release that had a fix for this?

yes I'm using 3.3.02 beta

That doesn't sound right. You should be able to playback the log on DV; without being connected to Trinity.

Please post your log and will investigate.

I can play back the log but I only see the external pid when hooked up to the car

I get critical file error from DV. Does this log playback for you in DV? Without Trinity attached?

The critical error is prolly the forum messing up the file, please reach over and slap the guy next to you and ask him to fix this once and for all, PLEASE.

OK. I just tested this using 1r06a_u7135 and with an SRT-8 bench ECU and power supply. It works fine. Even IF you download the log file from Trinity, save it on PC with DV and disconnect Trinity. You can restart DV and log plays back showing External INputs. Attached is a procedure and pictures.
