can a tune affect other settings on the computer

My 07 Yukon Denali had a dead battery issue last year. The dealer said he updated the comp because they had a problem with these vehicles where the modules would not shut off, they also replaced the battery. Last week I had the same problem (both times I reinstalled the stock tune before it went in) and the dealer said it was never updated. He said maybe the last place didnt do the update.So either they didnt do it or the diablo tune undid the update. Can the diablo tune affect these settings? I want to reinstall the Diablo tune but I'm afraid the problem might come back again. Iam using U7194

it sounds like the dealer/shop never really re-flashed the vehicle the first time... all they did was put in a new battery....

if it WAS updated, the Predator would have read that as its backup, which is what you would have restored.
