U-7134 Cannot get rid ok knock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by ptgtrialto »

****Please refer to HELP from 10-23-09***

I have tried adding fuel & the knock is still there at various fuel adds. It seems to be even higher @ 20 % fuel add 3- 7 k ..... I will try to post logs of stock ,93 tune(no adjustments) 17% add & 20% fuel adds........
One thing of interest JBailey said after reviewing tune that my timing runs
negative @ WOT and he had never seen that B-4 ????????
Even though I mentioned I heard some pinging in the original post, the stock log only shows 2* of knock.Which would be acceptable ..Right???
Please someone steer me in the right direction !!!!!

1) this JBailey guy is an idiot. timing is fine

2) Your pos car has to be working right FIRST.
Your TPS sensor or wiring is F'ed up. Log 11-18-09_Fuel_17%__3_LT_4_ST.log at time 5:41 and 5:46 shows quite clearly
that its jacked up.

3) Get an F'en wideband on the car if you really want to figure it out.

To test the TPS, you can do it with the Key ON and the Engine OFF. Move the throttle to see if the TPS changes voltage smoothly and consistently. Also wiggle test the TPS wiring and see if the voltage changes.

why in the world would you add that much fuel? did you ever think about just backing off the timing a touch? Your commanded AFR's are in the 9's... your probably fouling plugs. I would reset any adjustments you've made and then find a CMR tuner...
