"currenttunercrom" on Update Page

Post by Hydor »

RE: Release (Added support for 2010 SRT8, Cars and Jeep) - 12-03-2009 - currenttunercrom (4k)

Once again the link leads to a O bit file when download is attempted. Link must be bad.

You guys took down or messed up the link to 9R20. Check it out here: http://diablosport.com/index.php?module ... ay&pid=121

Its showing up correctly now. One question, is this the same as the 9r20 that's been out a while or is it the 9t21c that you have been working on.

The file you downloaded (9r20 of 12/03/09) was previously listed on that page as a 0 bit file called "currenttunercrom" and it was listed above a different crom 9r20 which was issued 10/16/09...someone has since amended the download page.

Question now is that I already have a crom 9r20 which was released on 10/16/09 so shouldn't this new crom be listed as 9r21???

Hydor,

9R21 has not been released yet. It is still currently 9T21c (a beta test file) and you can get that at the sticky thread of this forum: http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... ic&t=19120

Thanks but does anyone know what the difference is between the 9r20crom released on 10/16 and the "new" 9r20 released on 12/03???

Sure is confusing to me!!!

whenever diablosport re-loads or refreshes their file servers it applies a new date stamp. It does not mean the file has changed. That is why you have a revision numbering system (9R19, 9R20, 9Rxx etc.)

OK, thanks...but why then is the 12/03 9r20 crom 1123kb while the 10/23 version is only 1110kb?? Coincidentally, the beta crom 9t21c is also 1123kb. That's why I thought the "new" 9r20 might have actually been 9r21 and simply misnamed on the site. Guess I was mistaken.

Thanks for your help.
