7157 or 7159? How to tell?

Post by jcox68rt »

Ok, so I got a power puck from a buddy. It came off his 2004.5 Dodge, he thinks it's a 7159 but never had issues installed on his truck. I installed it on my 2007 Dodge CTD, and keep throwing a #0148 code (Fuel delivery Malfunction) According to my code reader.

I'm wondering how I can check to see if it's a 7157 or 7159. If it's a 7157 that tells me it's just not compatable with my truck. If it's a 7159 then either something is wrong with the puck or my lift pump is weak and not keeping up.

Please help with your thoughts or how to tell which puck I have. Or what the problem might be...
